We're excited to share with you that the AACFB Members Only Community is getting some new features that we think you're really going to like.
One of the new features is that there's now an in-line text editor for replies. What does this mean? If you reply to a discussion, it doesn't take you to a separate window. Instead, a text box appears under the message you're replying to so that you can see every post while you write your response.
Your messages are also now auto-saved as you write so that if you accidentally close the window or something crashes, your draft is safe and sound.
What we're most excited for, though, is new notifications of replies. Currently, you have to track your daily digests to see any replies to discussions you participate in. This is cumbersome and it's easy to miss replies. This is how it will work after the update:
-If you start a discussion, you immediately get an email any time someone replies letting you know you got a reply.
-If you reply to a discussion, you immediately get an email any time anyone else replies.
-If you don't post anything but are interested in the discussion, you can star it to subscribe and get notifications any time anyone posts.
We hope this makes it much easier to participate and have active back-and-forth conversations. And of course, you can unsubscribe from these extra notifications if you don't want them.
