While serving in the U.S. Navy, David managed small teams. He learned to unify people from different professional disciplines and socioeconomic backgrounds. This experience shaped his understanding of the management process and team building.
David believes in contributing to communities and to that end participated in projects such as Appalachian Ministries and Habitat for Humanity. Both projects identified individuals and families that needed homes. He considered it a privilege to see people’s lives transformed.
On the outside wall of a Marine Corps barracks, a mural reads, “Pain is temporary, pride is forever.” He felt pride knowing that he could make a significant difference in people’s lives. David is passionate about helping individuals and organizations to succeed.
He is currently pursuing an MBA and lives in Florida.
